TAW BATU (PHILIPPINES)
Among
the people of the south of Palawan Island, the settlers of the
Singnapan Valley stand out, living in caves during annual typhoon
seasons. In the caves, they hunt for bats and drink the water that
drips from stalactites. In addition to sharing their life in the caves,
Dr. Abati's team participates in their hunting, fishing and
agricultural tasks. Finally, guided by a group leader, the team
explores a cave by firelight. |
